On the second of August our R.G group was sent to van Rensburg avenue to create a new road. The main cause of this new road is to control erosion and to make the existing straight road more "game farm" friendly. We began by listening to Kobus and oom Sieg were they layed out the plan for the new road. The main reason for this new road is to make the road curvy because it's main cause is for game drives and it isn't interesting to have a game drive on a straight road.
The main job is to lay out the new road and to put branches on the edges of the new road to indicate the way. The other thing we needed to do is to spray out branches over the old road and the patches of earth that nothing is growing on.
We want to rehabilitate the ground that there can grow new grass and that it will look nicely. This project is going to take approximately five years to complete. I can't wait to see the end result.
