On Sunday the 23/01/11 I began with my new life at Sondela. We arrived at noon and were directed to Piccinini's Hall to be welcomed by Management. After the welcoming we had a lovely lunch and thereafter we said our final goodbyes to our parents we all went to unpack our clothes at our new home. Later that evening we got our first piece uniform, our Sondela cap's. On the 24/01/11 we started the W.O.P course.
From the 24/01 to the 31/01 we did self presentation and told everybody who and what we are. We also met all the management and how they fit in at Sondela. The rest of the week was spent on learning each other, learning about the history and interesting facts of Sondela, signing our policy and procedures and everything that goes on at Sondela.
A vital thing that I learned in that week is that communication is one of the most important aspects when it gets to teamwork and a wise thing that that someone said to me is that there is no I in team.
